One Day Summer Workshop Days @ Impress Theatre Arts
Monday - 1st August 2011 Cheerleading Workshop - learn a funky routine with sum basic fun skills with Pom Poms (boys can use their fists!) This is great fun way of keeping fit with use of co-ordination and rhythmic ability. Tuesday - 2nd August 2011 West End Footloose dance/singing workshop taught by professional a cast member. Children will learn some moves/songs from the actual show and will be encouraged to perform the routine like The West End! Wednesday - 3rd August 2011
Funky Street Dance Workshop learning some latest moves from pop videos taught by a MALE commercial street dancer who has great compassion for his work.
Thursday - 4th August 2011
Starlight Express roller skating workshop. A Cast member from the show will be coming to Impress to teach a technique workshop. Why not get those roller skates out and come and join in. Friday -5th August 2011 West End “Stomp” like workshop. For all those tap dancers that would like to make some noise - not just with their feet are welcome! A great way to keep those legs moving to the beat. Beginners welcome. Hard sole shoes (school shoes) are to be worn if you do not have tap shoes. All workshops are from Boys/Girls aged from 5 years and up. Adults are welcome on the roller skating course. The courses are from 10 til 3 pm and will have breaks and lunch to re-energise! They will be held at the Parish Hall, Great Amwell. Thursday's venue will be confirmed ASAP. The course days are £15 per day.
